What is STAHR?

STAHR (Southern Tier Association for Human Resources) is a non-profit organization for individuals in the Human Resources profession.

Membership:

Our membership is comprised of people working in, or with an active interest in, Human Resources and spans all types of organizations.  Affiliated with the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) and the Greater Binghamton Chamber of Commerce, STAHR serves Broome, Tioga, Delaware, and Chenango Counties in New York, and Susquehanna County in Pennsylvania.

Our Mission:

STAHR assists its members in becoming more effective by providing a forum to exchange ideas and by presenting informative programs which keep members current in the Human Resources field.

Meeting Topics:

Meeting topics may include all areas pertinent to the Human Resources function, including:

• Management Practices
• General Employment Practices
• Staffing
• Human Resource Development
• Employee and Labor Relations
• Health, Safety, and Security     

We welcome input from members regarding topics and speakers.
