Human Resources Generalist
Impress North America is a division of a worldwide metal packaging manufacturer
with plans for a new plant in Conklin, NY. The Human Resources Generalist is a
hands-on, key member of the plant start-up and management team with
responsibility for all HR administration including payroll, coordination of
technical/new hire training, team member recruiting and heavy involvement in
creation of a self-managed work force. Minimum Bachelor’s degree plus 5 years
exposure to innovative HR practices, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
Must have payroll and HR admin. background with excellent systems and Excel
skills. Ability to move into HR Manager role within 2-3 years. Occasional

seeking an in-house full-time Assistant Recruiter/Administrative Assistant.

- 3-5 years of strong PC literacy including proficiency with

Applicant tracking systems, report writing programs such as Crystal
Reports or business objects.
- 3-5 years experience with HRIS databases
Preferred Skills / Experience:
- Ability to multi task and execute projects with quality and on
time delivery.

Employee will potentially be working to source
and hire job applicants that fall into multiple categories such as Entry Level
Professionals and Experienced Professionals. Depending on business need
additional duties such as hosting recruiting events, attending job fairs, and
other potential requirements may arise. Travel to corporate events as deemed
necessary is required. Overall travel is minimal, but can be heavy at times. The
employee will work very closely with the management team throughout the site
requiring superior customer service and communication skills. Additionally, the
employee will work very closely on extremely confidential and personal
